Where do I find a law library?

There is an electronic law library at the Sherman County Courthouse located in the District Attorney’s Office (open to the public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Patrons will be given a username and password to log onto a computer-assisted legal research program called LexisNexis.

Some law and reference titles also may be found at the Sherman Public/School Library, 65912 High School Loop in Moro, adjacent to the Sherman Junior/Senior High School. You can search through library titles at http://sherman.sage.eou.edu/eg/opac/browse?locg=216 or call (541) 565-3279 if research help is needed.

Meanwhile, County Court documents, blueprints, and property maps can be found in the County Clerk’s Office. Police reports can be found in the Sheriff’s Office.
