Will my traffic ticket fine be reduced?

Fines are set by the Oregon state Legislature, which has established a minimum and a maximum fine for each category of ticket. The Court may choose to reduce the fine amount upon request depending on your individual circumstances.

Am I entitled to an attorney for a traffic ticket?

Because citations filed into the Justice Court are for violations rather than traffic crimes, you are not entitled to a court-appointed attorney. However, you are entitled to seek representation at your own expense.
