When are County Court minutes published and where can I access them online?

Minutes are published after they have been approved by County Court — usually two weeks from the Court date they are written for. Approved minutes are published on the County Court’s “Archive of County Court Meeting Minutes” page. Copies of approved minutes also are kept on file at the County Clerk’s Office.

Where is County Court held?

County Court is held in the Commissioners Meeting Room, unless otherwise specified in the meeting notice or on the agenda.

What sort of cases are handled by the Sherman County Circuit Court?

The circuit court processes criminal felony and misdemeanor cases, including DUII diversions. There are four judges in the Seventh Circuit Court District who may be “on the bench” when a circuit-court case is heard in Sherman County. These four judges share responsibility for all Seventh District Circuit Courts in Gilliam, Hood River, Sherman, Wasco, and Wheeler counties.
